Cleaning up existing website, incorporated bootstrap framework into redesigned pages, and serialized/standardized Thrive's data. The new site was written in Sinatra, a ruby framework.
I developed and deployed tweetyjobs.com, a career listing site centered around Twitter. As the lead engineer, I developed the site's automated resume parsing service, which populated a job seeker's online profile with pertinent skills, employment experience, and education
Developed the UX/UI (user experience/interface) for nooknack, and created a RoR (Ruby on Rails) application to handle all functionality, and deployed the site to Amazon's Elastic Compute Cloud. Part of this project involved integration with the Floorplanner API, allowing interior designers to mock up floorplans with furniture & accessories purchased through nooknack, along with a payment gateway, to accept credit card payment
Framebuilder was created for a local printing and frame shop. Customers uploaded any image (for example a family photo or artwork), they selected a frames and mattes, and chose from a series of predetermined sizes. The customer cropped and positioned their image within the frame, and the creators of Framebuilder printed the picture on large format canvas, framed it, and delivered it to the end user. I developed all of the interactivity of the site, developed the front end website, created a RoR (Ruby on Rails) application to serve the front-end application, along with an administrative application for framebuilder to fulfill the orders.
Founded and operated, Seller's Door, the Philadelphia region's largest eBay drop-off stop in Bryn Mawr, PA. Over $300,000 in sales during first year of operation. I developed automated listing software to post photographs and item descriptions directly to ebay, and record customer information.
